Who We Are
Our Story
Barbour Transformation was founded with a simple belief: homeowners deserve a contractor they can actually trust. One who shows up on time, communicates clearly, and takes as much pride in your home as you do.
What started as a one-man handyman operation in 2024 has grown into a full-service general contracting company serving clients across South Carolina. While working for other contractors and building tons of DIY projects, we have gathered the experience to make your transformation come to reality. Founding the business on Christian morals and principles, we bring a trust and dedication because we not only work for you, but we work for the Lord. Colossians 3:23 -24, "23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
We're not a national franchise or a fly-by-night crew. We're your neighbors — licensed, insured, and invested in the communities we work in. When you hire Barbour Transformation, you get a team that treats your home like their own.
Our Values
What We Stand For
Honest Pricing
We give you a detailed, written estimate before any work begins. No surprise charges, no hidden fees — ever.
Quality Craftsmanship
We don't cut corners. Every project gets the same attention to detail whether it's a $200 repair or a $200,000 renovation.
Clear Communication
You'll always know where your project stands. We return calls, answer questions, and keep you in the loop from start to finish.
Community First
We live and work in South Carolina. Supporting local suppliers, hiring local workers, and giving back to our communities matters to us.
Leadership
Gregg Barbour
Founder & Owner
Gregg started Barbour Transformation after years working in the church as a Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Lead Pastor, he moved back to South Carolina, and spent years working in residential and commercial construction and seeing firsthand how homeowners were let down by contractors who overpromised and underdelivered. His mission from day one: build a company where the work speaks for itself and every client feels respected, and transform dreams into reality.
A South Carolina native, Gregg holds his SC General Contractor license and personally oversees every project to ensure it meets the Barbour Transformation standard.
